The 2018-2019 Cardiff Blues End of Season Awards took place in a glamorous affair last night at Cardiff and Vale College.
It’s a pleasure to be the Event Partner with the Cardiff Blues to achieve an enjoyable night celebrating and recognising the season’s highest achievers.
We are so pleased to be sponsor of the Try of the Season award. To place our name next to these excellent try-scorers is an honour!
After a panel of highly-regarded judges chose the short-list, the vote was placed into the hands of the public. A large stir was caused on Twitter when the poll went out and people began a frenzy to get their vote in and comment as to why their choice deserved to win! 💪
A huge congratulations to Owen Lane, Garyn Smith and Gareth Anscombe - all thoroughly deserving of being shortlisted and equally exciting tries to watch!
Matthew Morgan was the chosen winner of Try of the Season (and that’s a whole lot of tries to choose from)! 👏 We send our biggest congratulations to Matthew; your dedication and talent has been recognised and now it’s time to celebrate. Best of luck for next season boys!
Genero’s Managing Director Peter Leckie said “It’s an honour to continue our support of the Blues family, they’re a team close to our hearts and Genero looks forward to the next season!”
Gethin Jenkins deservedly received the Special Recognition award. We want to offer our congratulations to Gethin, as we did the production for his testimonial year in 2016/17 with Engagesport and he was a delight to work with.
